Simon Lees

Simon gained his qualification of Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Birmingham University, UK, in 1989.

He then worked as an associate for two years at a practice in the South West Devon area of the UK.  Simon has also been part of the team in the Restorative Dentistry department at a large hospital in the UK.

Simon and his wife, Lesley, then purchased their own busy dental practice in Dartmouth, Devon, UK which they ran for 17 years. Since moving to New Plymouth over 3 years ago Simon has worked as an associate at a practice here in the City.

Simon is very interested in Cosmetic Dentistry as well as all aspects of general dentistry and loves to provide a great range of treatment options. Simon performs the Bicon Implant System here at the practice which he trained in at Harvard University in Boston, USA.  These are implants that can be placed within the dental surgery environment providing restorations to compromised or missing teeth, restoring confidence and improving quality of life.

Simon also performs E4D restorations here at the practice which are all-ceramic restorations based on modern digital laser technology.  The benefits of the E4D system are all-ceramic restorations to damaged or broken teeth, provided in one visit with no impressions or temporary fillings or crowns.  These restorations are highly aesthetic and long lasting.

Simon is very interested in wildlife, nature, walking, music, theatre and cuisine.
